growmelikeanevergreen: Here I go with another book recommendation.I’ve been onto this kick of reading books by female comedians. Such as Bossypants by Tina Fey and Seriously…I’m Kidding by Ellen Degeneres. This one by Mindy Kaling definitely ranks up there with Bossypants. In fact, I have trouble deciding which I enjoyed more. Although I will say, for me at least, I think this book was more relatable than Fey’s. The chapter “Someone Explain One Night Stands to Me” had me roaring with laughter. I couldn’t agree more with her opinions. I’m a part of the ashamed minority that hasn’t watched more than 5 episodes of The Office (I know, I know. I’m fixing this soon) So I really didn’t know much about Mindy other than she appeared on the show. By the middle of the book (perhaps sooner), I fell in love with Kaling and couldn’t put the book down. Nor stop laughing. Now I’m questioning why I haven’t taken the time to watch The Office as well as why I haven’t come across the hilarious Mindy Kaling any sooner.
